Role Purpose

We are looking for a detail-oriented Internal Audit Assistant to provide operational support to the Internal Audit function. You will play a key role in conducting audits, reviewing compliance, and strengthening internal controls while contributing to continuous process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of internal audits across stores and departments
• Participate in stock counts and operational verifications
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls
• Collect, organize, and analyze audit documentation and evidence
• Assist in preparing preliminary and final audit reports
• Identify discrepancies, risks, and process inefficiencies
• Follow up on audit recommendations and corrective actions
• Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of information
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal procedures
• Perform additional audit-related tasks as required

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in:
• Accounting
• Auditing
• Finance
• Business Administration
• Management or related field

Experience

• Prior experience in auditing, stock control, internal controls, or administrative roles is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of auditing and internal controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports
