Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in Maputo. The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include managing financial operations, conducting risk assessments, implementing financial controls, and providing strategic financial insights to drive business decisions. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to ensure the organization’s financial health and long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
• Proficiency in preparing financial reports and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Strong skills in risk assessment and financial controls
• Leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with financial management software and tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CFA qualifications will be an advantage)
• Familiarity with Mozambique’s financial regulations is a plus
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is highly desirable
