This role will be based offshore on pipelay vessels (Solitaire / Stingray), supporting the installation of subsea pipelines during a critical EPCI phase. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality execution of offshore installation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of offshore pipelay operations, ensuring execution aligns with approved procedures and engineering specifications
• Support the Company Site Representative (CSR) in supervising installation activities onboard the vessel
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project standards, HSE, and QA/QC requirements
• Identify and manage technical deviations, ensuring proper Management of Change (MoC) processes are followed
• Participate in risk assessments, HAZIDs, SIMOPS, and technical reviews
• Interface with engineering, operations, QA/QC, and HSE teams to support installation execution
• Track installation progress and provide accurate daily reporting and handover between shifts
• Witness offshore activities and verify compliance with contractual and technical requirements
• Support project reporting systems and contribute to lessons learned and project close-out documentation
• Act as deputy for the CSR when required

Project Scope

• Installation of multiple rigid subsea pipelines, including trunklines and MEG lines
• Shallow water and deepwater pipelay campaigns using S-lay technique
• Major LNG development: subsea-to-shore gas field, large-scale infrastructure and offshore installation

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, including offshore projects
• At least 5 years of experience with S-lay pipelay installation
• Strong experience in offshore installation, contractor supervision, and technical assurance
• Proven background in HSE and QA/QC compliance offshore
• Experience working on major EPCI/LNG projects is highly preferred
• Previous experience onboard installation vessels is essential

Certifications Required

• Valid BOSIET
• Valid OGUK Medical
• Fitness for offshore work (OGUK-compliant)

• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced offshore environments
• Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills
• Strong reporting and communication capabilities
• Experience working in multicultural, international project teams
