The Key Purpose of this role is to provide country-level ownership and active management of inventory, supply chain losses, and impairment risks, including finished goods, empties, and materials stored under Supply Chain Overheads (SCOH). The role is responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives to reduce losses, improve inventory performance, ensure accurate reporting and data integrity, and support long-term inventory planning while maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and inventory management standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Country ownership and active management of supply chain losses, impairment, and inventory (finished goods, empties, and materials in external storage accounted for within the SCOH package).
- Drive cross-functional action plans and mitigation initiatives within the SCOH and Impairment Package.
- Prepare and deliver high-level reporting and presentations on Supply Chain Overheads and Bottle Losses, including root-cause analysis, to Directors and Zone leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Zone and Global teams to ensure best practices are adopted within the country.
- Develop and monitor supply chain overhead budgets through monthly tracking and reporting.
- Track and manage monthly Latest Estimate (LE) accuracy.
- Manage slow and obsolete stock, including current and LE tracking, reporting, gap closure, and write-off mitigation plans.
- Coach teams and implement best practices to mitigate demand changes and their impact on inventory holding.
- Coach teams and ensure adherence to inventory count procedures while coordinating monthly stock count activities.
- Identify and implement value-add initiatives and opportunities related to Supply Chain Overheads.
- Plan and execute inventory count processes across all business areas.
- Manage NPD, innovation SKU, and de-listed SKU phase-in and phase-out processes for raw materials and finished goods.
- Own daily controls to ensure standardized best practices are applied across ERP systems.
- Maintain and ensure a high standard of data accuracy within inventory reporting systems.
- Deliver accurate inputs for medium- to long-term inventory planning (S&OP and S&OE).
- Own CSA adherence for inventory management in Mozambique.
- Manage improvements relating to transport breakages and recharge processes.
- Own inventory blocks, toolkits, and GOPS in LCP.
- Own warehouse management processes in LCP.
- Act as the Mozambique owner for Mass Balance inputs.
- Support the understanding, implementation, and cascading of policies and SOPs across the country.
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Strong experience in management of finished goods and/or raw materials management
- Strong end to end Supply Chain expertise.
- Ability to effectively communicate at senior levels at MANCOM and Global Levels.
- Able to effectively communicate and interact with cross functional stakeholders, Internal and external customers at all levels of the Company.
- Strong knowledge of finance management

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Degree in a relevant field, such as: Engineering ,Econometrics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Information Technology & Accounting Science
- MBA will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain management, and finance.
