Job Title: Sales Assistant

Work Location: Matola, Mozambique

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, with a 2-hour lunch break at noon

Monthly Basic Salary: 15000 – 20000 MZN

Basic Recruitment Criteria

• Age range: 24 – 35 years old;
• Male candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the sales team with daily administrative and operational tasks;
2. Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices and all other relevant sales documents;
3. Follow up on customer order progress and track payment status;
4. Coordinate with the finance department to guarantee timely order fulfillment;
5. Communicate with customers for order updates, overdue payment follow-ups and document formalities;
6. Maintain and update customer profiles, sales records and outstanding receivables data;
7. Respond to customer enquiries and resolve routine operational issues promptly.

Job Requirements

Work Experience

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in sales support, customer service or general administration roles;
• Candidates with prior experience in lubricants, tires or import & export trading industries will be prioritized.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational skills and outstanding time management capabilities;
• Meticulous working style with high focus on details and data accuracy;
• Able to work both independently and collaborate closely within a team;
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
• Capable of working under tight pressure and delivering tasks before deadlines.

Computer Proficiency

• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook;
• Prior experience operating ERP systems (Kingdee, SAP, Odoo, etc.) is a plus.

Language Proficiency

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
