As a Legal Assistant, the successful candidate will provide support to the legal team in managing various legal matters and case files. This includes conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases; assist in drafting legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings; organize and maintain case files and document management systems; assist in preparing and filing legal documents with the court; schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments; prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties; assist in preparing for trial, including organizing exhibits and witnesses; perform administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry; manage calendars and coordinate travel arrangements; provide general support to the legal team as needed.

Requisitos

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field;
• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role preferably with oil, gas or minerals industry;
• Knowledge of legal principles and procedures;
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills;
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English;
• Proficient in using legal research databases and software;
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Discretion and confidentiality.
