Position Description

FHI 360 is seeking a Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health Technical Advisor for the EpiC project to be implemented in the provinces of Nampula and Zambezia, focusing on improving maternal, neonatal, and child health outcomes, immunization, and nutrition (MNCHIN) by increasing the use of and access to high-quality services. The Technical Advisor will be responsible for overseeing all clinical activities in health facilities and communities, including supporting the government and other partners to implement mentoring, guidance, and supportive supervision, particularly for high-impact, lifesaving practices and interventions; ensuring quality in training initiatives and care delivery by community health workers (APS) and other providers at the community level; supporting the capacity building of local government to take on clinical supervision to ensure quality of care for MNCH activities.

The position will be based in the city of Quelimane, Zambezia, and will report to the Project Technical Director.

Compensation

The expected hiring salary range for this role is USD 51,825 – 65,000 for annual basic salary. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, market pay, and budget. For internal candidates, salary placement will also follow FHI 360’s current promotional increase guidelines.
