Vaga Para Estagiário Fiscal (m/f)

Tax intern will support the MozLNG Tax Team in the carrying out of tax projects such as regularization of VAT rejected to be written off, preparation of the Fiscal Dossier for tax compliance, organization of accounting documents and records of tax accounts.

Assisting the Tax team in:

• Organization of documentations related to the tax and exchange control
• Maintaining the document register, in particular ensure its consistency between the Sharepoint and the Physical archive
• Recording the information of tax returns to a control file in Excel
• Provide analyses of variations of tax payments
• Assistance with the reconciliation of the tax accounts in SAP
• Uploading the tax returns in SAP
• Assistance with the implementation of the Fiscal Dossier tax compliance requirements for 2020 and 2021
• Prepare the allocation per cost object and expense account of VAT rejected to be written-off from inception of project to date
• Prepare the allocation of VAT received per cost object in 2021 forward
• Assistance with the clearing of all tax accounts

Candidate profile

Student in last year of University in Accounting / Finance / Audit, or recently graduated. Preference to fully graduated candidates.

Experience/Specific Knowledge:

• Proficient in Microsoft office in particular Excel
• Knowledge of SAP is beneficial

Personal skills:

Fluent in written and spoken English

Be engaged in the Tax department’s strategic and operational objectives and respond timely and accurately on aspects related to tax files, as well as support the tax team when necessary.
