Vaga Para Especialista de Planificação Financeira (m/f)

We are looking for a Financial Planning Specialist for our headquarters in Matola to join our team and help us achieve our vision and mission.

Our mission is to provide our clients with logistics, project, and mining services in the SADC region, while our vision is to be the solution for logistics, project, and mining services in the SADC.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

• We are looking for an experienced and strategic Financial
• Planning Specialist to lead the company’s financial planning processes, performance analysis, and decision-support activities.
• The successful candidate will ensure analytical rigor and provide strong financial support to business operations.

DETAILS OF POSITION:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead financial planning cycles: annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and strategic plan.
• Develop and update financial models for scenario analysis, profitability assessment, and decision support.
• Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and recommend corrective actions.
• Consolidate operational indicators across multiple business units.
• Create and maintain KPI dashboards.
• Partner with Operations to optimize costs, efficiency, and asset allocation.
• Prepare reports for the Board of Directors and executive presentations.
• Support process improvement and digitalization initiatives (Power BI, ERP, telematics, reporting automation).

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields (MBA or CFA is an advantage).
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance.
• Experience in transport, logistics, mining, or capital-intensive industries is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills (advanced Excel) and proficiency in Power Bl.
• Strong analytical skills with solid knowledge of operational cost structures and productivity metrics.
• Experience in multi-company and multi-country environments is an advantage.
• Strategic mindset, strong analytical capability, and excellent executive communication skills.
