Marketing Associate

Petropipe Lda is looking for an ideal Marketing Executive to join our young and dynamic team of professionals for the Mozambique, Maputo office.

Responsibilities:

• Design the marketing plan based on past actions and best practices.
• Collect new contacts from potential clients by setting up different marketing actions: partnerships with companies, field marketing actions.
• Develop marketing initiatives to expand customer base and optimize sales.
• Manage and participate in media campaigns and marketing events (promotional activities, press conferences, open days, exhibitions, visits).
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers via social media.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing content.
• Manage the Digital media to create engagement with our target.

As an ideal candidate, you:

Technical Skills:

• Should be fluent in English and Portuguese, spoken and written (other international Africa-Wide languages such as French will also be an advantage)
• Should have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing.
• Should know about Social Media (LinkedIn)
• Should be a master in inbound sales and marketing techniques and understand how to adapt them to an Oil, Gas, and Energy context. Should have command over MS Office
• Should have command over MS Office

Interpersonal Skills:

• Should be self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision. Should be a great communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Should be a great communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Should be organized, know how to prioritize and multi-task
• Should ideally know about Mozambique Oil, Gas and Energy Landscape

Experience Required:

• At least 1-2 years experience in marketing
