Vaga Para Superintendente de HSSE (m/f)

The primary purpose of the Health, Safety & Emergency (HSSE) Superintendent is to lead a robust team in providing advice, support and mentoring on the full range of operational and strategic HSSE issues. The HSSE Superintendent also supports an improvement in culture and understands and demonstrates behaviors as a team member that is consistent with the TWIGG Exploration & Mining Limited values.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Operational experience in emergencies, medical and training related activities, preferable mining or heavy industry
• Experienced and competent in Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), Firefighting, Road Crash Rescue, Height Rescue and Confined Space Rescue.
• Previous experience in interpretation, and implementation of HSSE legislation
• Qualification/s in Health, Safety, Training/Assessing and Auditing
• High level communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Exposure and understanding of relevant Mozambican legislation and regulations.
• Certified Internal Auditor (highly desirable).
• Qualified in Senior First Aid (highly desirable).
• Strong conceptual thinking, problem solving & auditing skills – ability to logically analyse complex information/data.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and Portuguese
