TRANSPORTES LALGY IS HIRING: BULLDOZER OPERATOR – TETE

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Operate equipment safely, efficiently, and precisely to perform a variety of tasks related to construction, earthmoving, mining, or other operations.

DETAILS OF POSITION:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and maneuver the equipment safely and efficiently in various terrain and work conditions.
• Perform leveling, earthmoving, excavation, and material pushing operations using the bulldozer’s front blade.
• Monitor equipment conditions and perform routine checks to ensure the bulldozer is functioning properly.
• Report any equipment anomalies to the supervisor.
• Adhere to safety procedures and operational regulations, including the proper use of safety devices on the equipment.
• Communicate effectively with other team members on-site to coordinate operations and ensure task safety and efficiency.

SKILLS:

• Proven experience operating bulldozers, particularly Caterpillar, model D9 or similar.
• Solid knowledge of bulldozer operation principles and skills to maneuver the equipment precisely.
• Ability to perform pre-operation inspections and identify mechanical or safety issues.
• Knowledge of occupational safety standards and best practices for construction and earthmoving operations.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively.
• Valid certification or license to operate heavy equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Five years of experience operating a Caterpillar D9 bulldozer.
• Completion of the 10th grade in the National Education System.
