We are looking for an HSEQ Administrator for our headquarters in Matola to join our team and help us achieve our vision and mission.
Our mission is to provide our clients with logistics, project, and mining services in the SADC region, while our vision is to be the solution for logistics, project, and mining services in the SADC.
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Providing the administrative support necessary for the smooth running of the organization’s health, safety, environment and quality activities.
DETAILS OF POSITION:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizing and keeping up-to-date records and documents related to health, safety, the environment and quality, such as
procedures, manuals, certificates and reports. - Ensuring that documentation complies with applicable standards.
- Assisting in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
- Collecting, organizing and consolidating data related to HSEQ performance indicators (accidents, incidents, inspections, training, etc.).
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for management and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinating the scheduling of training sessions, meetings, inspections and audits.
- Organizing the logistics of HSEQ-related events, such as lectures, awareness campaigns and workshops.
- Acting as a point of contact for internal queries and requests relating to HSEQ.
- Assisting in the dissemination of communications, campaigns and educational materials on health, safety, the environment and
quality. - Use HSEQ management systems to record and monitor data.
- Ensuring that information is up-to-date and accessible to the
- HSEQ team and other company departments-
- Helping to create action plans and monitoring deadlines for implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, organizing records and the necessary documentation.
- Controlling the inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety materials.
- Carry out other tasks related to activities, in close alignment with the line manager.
- Complying with health, safety, environmental and quality measures
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of one to two years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in areas related to HSEQ, occupational safety or quality.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 is desirable.
- High school education completed. Technical or higher education in occupational safety, environmental management or related
areas may be an advantage.
