Job Description
To deliver on talent acquisition activities and processes underpinned by unique and evolving business requirements to deliver efficient and high-touch experience for new joiners throughout the recruitment life cycle to ensure employee engagement and satisfaction
- Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work-related resources.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards.
- Execute own work in accordance with the organisational values and code of ethics.
- Comply with and adhere to identified governance and compliance standards and escalate problems for investigation and resolution.
- Identify and escalate risk as normal part of work.
- Maintain an accurate vacancy tracking system and provide proactive, ongoing feedback on progress.
- Source and attract the highest calibre of candidates within agreed timelines.
- Use sourcing channels/tools that meet the business requirements and achieve efficiencies for business.
- Ensure that the recruitment process is followed and that all relevant required documentation /information is completed and signed off (references etc.), in alignment with company policy and procedure.
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers and HR to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs.
- Ensure that the Talent Acquisition process is accurately captured and updated on relevant database systems, e.g., a database of potential identified internally and externally, analysis of rejections etc.
- Consult and collaborate with business, including hiring manager and human resources partner, by guiding and supporting them with regards to considerations for experience and other requirements that may be appropriate for roles identified for recruitment processes, as well as the suitability of identified candidates, as noted from experience in similar or related processes.
- Ensure candidates are appropriately matched to roles in order to prevent inefficiencies and financial losses due to increased turnover, supervision and/or training.
- Find the right candidates, at the right time and at the right cost, according to business plans and targets (such as employment equity).
- Manage end-to-end process of sourcing and delivering top talent as per agreed benchmarks.
- Ensure a proactive service to stakeholders by sourcing relevant talent to fulfil immediate requirements.
- Source and attract the highest calibre of candidates within agreed timelines.
- Drive utilisation of various sourcing channel methods through a central function.
- Identify, manage, and drive utilization of sourcing channels/tools that meet the business requirements and achieve efficiencies across the company.
- Conduct recruitment and selection process in accordance with the relevant guidelines and legislation to maintain the quality and integrity of the process.
- Produce high quality work by adhering to predefined standards and procedures and in accordance with compliance and governance standards.
- Work with enhanced processes and procedures to maintain operational efficiencies.
- Deliver work in an accurate manner to ensure consistent results.
- Draw on knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that leads to improved service delivery and quality.
- Adhere to quality standards, turnaround times and Company policies and procedures.
- Complete relevant administration, reporting and updating of information accurately and on time.
- Investigate new ways to optimise processes.
- Flag opportunities to migrate to platform and supports the use of technology in process and system improvements.
- Draw on knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that lead to improved service delivery and quality.
- Provide timeous reports on operations, performance and audit findings.
- Report on transactional activity progression within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making in area of accountability.
- Contribute to teamwork and inclusivity within own team.
- Identify and utilise opportunities to assess and improve own performance.
