Description

The agile chapter lead is responsible for the performance cycle and personal development of chapter members on their journey to mastery and build scrum master capabilities within the product organization.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Lead and guide scrum master in enhancing and growing skills and capabilities needed for effective adoption of agile principles and practices.
• Guide SAFe initiatives by coaching, mentoring and inspiring key stakeholders to adopt new processes and improvements based on program retrospectives
• Set targets for development and growth of chapter complete final assessment of Chapter employees in professional development.
• Ensure quality and transparency on the expected value delivered to organizational leaders and relevant stakeholders.
• Define metrics and evaluating squad development performance controlled by Scrum Master’s chapter members
• Performs long-term employability planning and people management eg. Recruitment, Talent management.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

• Experience with agile frameworks and agile at scale;
• Lead multiple Agile teams on SAFe methodologies with knowledge of embedded SDLC process;
• Understanding and background in project management and IT;
• Understanding agile management tools
• Planning skills, servant leadership, confident, Self-driven towards achieving goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills, across various levels

Must have technical / professional qualifications

• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Systems Technology
• 5+ years in Scrum Master experience in any well-known software environment.
• Strong knowledge both theoretical and practical in implementing agile projects at Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• GSM knowledge (mandatory).
• SAFe, PMI-ACP, SMC or equivalent certification (desirable).

Key performance indicators

• Continuous improvement in teams cadence and quality of deliverables by having PI Yield >= 90%
• More frequent releases whilst reducing defect counts to stimulate NPS e and strategic investment;
• Measuring & Improve on all Scrum Master’s chapters members performance
