Job Description
Coca – Cola Beverages Africa has an exciting vacancy of Regulatory Affairs Specialist at one of our Mozambique Bottlers – Matola-Gare Plant, leading producer of various flavors in Mozambique for the last 30 years. This position reports directly to the PACS Director. The incumbent will be responsible to assuring license to operate through CCSM involvement on subjects related to Regulatory and Public policies, advise on possible regulatory risks to the business and mitigate it through different stakeholder engagement activities, build and implement company Regulatory Affairs strategy and plans, assure corporate sponsorships approval and implementation process
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Plan & budgeting
- Create Budget plan in alignment with PACS director
Stakeholder Engagement
- Define and implement a clear strategy for stakeholder Engagement on public policies and company regulatory Affairs, subjects, events, and others.
- Strengthen relationships with relevant stakeholders, KoL, Associations and share CCSM image and reputation.
Public Affairs
- Develop and grow a Non-Beverages Association through identifying public speaking opportunities for CCSM and the Association.
- Build company position papers to sustain its position on public policies related to taxation and other issues with direct impact to the business.
Company Protocol and events
- Put in place a company protocol for, press conferences, brand launches, marketing events, public statements, etc.
- Manage all corporate activities in collaboration with other relevant departments.
Sponsorships
- Manage all corporate sponsorship requests and relevant meetings
Skills, Experience & Education
- Honors degree in Law.
- 3 to 5 years of experience on this role or at similar positions.
- Experience on FMCG business it’s advantageous.
- Strong track record of delivering results
- Knowledge of business and managem
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
- Fluent Portuguese and English (verbal and written) and basic understanding of local language and/or willingness to learn
- KoL, NGO, Government, General public, Policy makers
