Document Controller
Summary
The document controller is responsible for operational documents. This role involves coordinating with all departments within an organisation and ensuring that documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to all internal services
Qualifications
- Grade 12 plus 5+ years of work experience as a Document controller in an operational environment
- University degree in a Technical or Administrative Discipline is an advantage
- Excellent skills in Basic Microsoft Office programs (Work, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Knowledge of SharePoint or other document control software
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processes related to document control and management
- Work with a project team in order to implement systems of control
- Check quality of documents
- Monitor processes
- Set up project filling systems
- Liaise with other documentation groups
- Work with document control software to create and maintain Project Schedules
- Implement and monitor Document control for all Operations.
