As the Manufacturing Excellence Lead, you will drive operational performance across all manufacturing activities by improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), enhancing line efficiency, and leading cost-reduction initiatives through better asset utilization and waste minimization. You will establish a strong continuous-improvement culture by applying Lean, Six Sigma, automation, and structured root-cause analysis to close performance gaps and elevate process reliability. The role also focuses on implementing digital tools to enable real-time visibility and proactive decision-making, while ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards to support sustainable, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead productivity initiatives to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and manufacturing line efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategies for logistics optimization, including warehouse efficiency and transportation cost reduction.
- Monitor and drive cost reduction efforts in manufacturing and logistics by improving asset utilization and reducing raw material and packaging waste.
- Implement supply chain digital tools for real-time monitoring and proactive decision-making.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between production, supply planning, logistics, and commercial teams** to enhance agility and service reliability.
- Champion sustainability initiatives in energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction, and circular economy practices in the supply chain.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement, driving Lean, Six Sigma, and automation projects to improve processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis on performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across manufacturing.
Skills, Experience & Education
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field
Lean Six Sigma certification** (Green or Black Belt) preferred
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing excellence, logistics, or operations within an FMCG/bottling environment.
- Experience in warehouse and logistics optimization, including fleet management and cost control
- Strong data analysis and process improvement skills, with experience using Power BI, SAP, or other analytics tools
Skills
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong leadership and change management skills, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of sustainability and environmental best practices in manufacturing and logistics.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in collaborating across multiple business functions
