As the Logistics Excellence Lead, you will drive end-to-end logistics transformation by analyzing performance data and benchmarking insights to identify initiatives that enhance customer service, cost efficiency, and operational productivity. You will lead cross-functional project delivery, coordinate with supply chain and business stakeholders, and partner with Group Office teams to implement best practices and standardize processes. A key focus of the role is strengthening operational performance through robust KPI frameworks, real-time visibility systems, and effective use of logistics technologies such as telematics and route-planning tools. You will also build in-country logistics capability by developing maturity assessments, driving targeted learning and development initiatives, and embedding process standardization to elevate team competence and operational reliability. Ultimately, you will champion continuous improvement across logistics operations, ensuring accurate data integrity, strong governance, and sustained performance excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Logistics Excellence and Transformation:
- Analyze key performance data and benchmark information to identify logistics projects that improve customer service, cost efficiency, and productivity.
- Manage project delivery aspects to ensure successful implementation, including leading project teams and coordinating with logistics and supply chain functions.
- Partner and liaise with stakeholders beyond logistics to execute, drive, and monitor actions that improve the business.
- Collaborate with Group Office teams to implement best practices, focus project implementation, and standardize processes and ways of working.
- Drive continuous improvement programs for logistics operations in the country.
Operational KPIs Management:
- Establish operational metrics and KPIs, and support the team in achieving these targets by developing key opportunities, actions, projects, and mitigation plans.
- Establish monitoring systems, routines, and information visibility to support the logistics operational teams and the Supply Chain Director.
- Ensure that systems (e.g., telematics, route planning, etc.) for logistics are functioning correctly, provide accurate capture of operational health, and maintain correct master data.
Capability Building:
- Responsible for in-country logistics capability development.
- Drive actions around building capability within the logistics team, including Learning and Development initiatives.
- Enable logistics performance through process standardization and best practice adoption.
- Develop maturity curves and audits for all logistics capability areas. Audit logistics operations against these, plot results, and determine the level of support required to improve country results and performance.
Skills, Experience & Education
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field
Lean Six Sigma certification** (Green or Black Belt) preferred
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing excellence, logistics, or operations within an FMCG/bottling environment.
- Experience in warehouse and logistics optimization, including fleet management and cost control
- Strong data analysis and process improvement skills, with experience using Power BI, SAP, or other analytics tools\
- Proven experience in logistics and/or supply chain management
- Demonstrated experience in managing logistics projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- Experience in establishing and managing operational metrics and KPIs.
- Background in developing and implementing continuous improvement programs.
- Experience in capability building within logistics teams, including conducting audits and developing maturity curves.
- Familiarity with collaborating with Group Office teams to implement best practices and standardize processes.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management systems
