Job Summary
The Compliance Business Manager is responsible for managing the governance dimension of the compliance department, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and documentation. This role involves developing and maintaining compliance reports, coordinating with various business units to gather necessary data, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The Compliance Business Manager oversees the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, internal compliance documentation, and management information reports. Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer to align governance activities with the department’s strategic objectives.

Job Description
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal compliance documentation.
- Develop and present management information (MI) reports to senior management.
- Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in all reporting and documentation tasks.
- Ability to analyze complex data and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in developing and implementing compliance strategies.
- Manage compliance-related projects and initiatives to support the department’s objectives.
- Anticipates compliance challenges and develops effective solutions.
- Manages multiple projects and ensures timely completion.
- Coordinate with various business units to gather necessary compliance data.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of compliance data.
- Works effectively with internal stakeholders to gather and manage compliance data.
- Manages multiple data sources and ensures timely data collection and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the compliance department’s strategic plan.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance governance and reporting processes.
- Develops and implements long-term strategies for compliance governance.
- Focuses on achieving strategic goals and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Communicate compliance updates and findings to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance compliance awareness.
- Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and fosters collaboration.
- Ensures clear and confident communication of compliance requirements and expectations.
Education
- Higher Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
