Logistics Officer

Purpose of the role:

Responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, maintaining relationships, approving products, and ensuring the cost-effective procurement of materials, parts, or goods.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating and maintaining the Procurement Tracker for all procurement as well as submission of the Supply Chain KPI Report to the Logistics Manager.
• Issues assets to staff and tracks assets assigned to staff through the Asset Register.
• Responsible for keeping track of all supplies received and dispatched through the Warehouse Tracker and for keeping documentation for these movements intact, including acknowledgement from beneficiaries for distributed goods/kits.
• Assist and accommodate the implementation team in all of the administrative and logistics support needed.
• Monitor, analyze, planning and controlling of logistics operation, Escalation party for urgent or unsolved logistics issues. Share responsibility in issue of identification and resolution
• Import and Export customs clearance/permit application: Review documents, permit application, duty and VAT calculation, coordinator to customs broker and ensure they comply with Huawei’s requirements and local regulations and law, arrange payment for duty & VAT and clearance charge, monthly providing kinds of customs clearance report as per upper management team’s requirement
• Product and spare parts classification and tariff rates updating, documentation and filing for internal & external audit and track and trace purposes
• Local delivery and distribution: Quotation requiry, transportation booking and instruction, shipment track and control, submitting shipment report and relative charge analysis
• Warehouse management: Material receiving and dispatch, inventory count and book keeping, arrange payment for inventory charge, issuing inventory report

Educational background and experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree Logistics, Supply chain Management or any degree will be highly considered.
• More than five years experiences in supply chain, warehouse or logistic experience
• Experience in handling logistics and procurement
• Effective communication skills, both in written and verbal forms in order to establish effective relationships with a wide range of audiences, including at a geographical distance
• Ability to think and act fast and high flexibility
• Strong sense of urgency, work ethic and Resourceful and focuses on the solution rather than the problem
• Experience using warehouse equipment
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, Team player and good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
