- Job Description: Data Operations Officer (DCR System)
- Location: Maputo, Mozambique (On-site/Field)
- Department: Sales Operations / Supply Chain
- Reports to: Sales Operations Manager / Lead Trainer
- Employment Type: Full-time
1. Position Objective
The Data Operations Officer is responsible for the precise and timely entry of sales, inventory, and logistics data into the company’s DCR System. This role serves as the “source of truth” for the Maputo region, ensuring that every unit moving from the warehouse to the channel or the end customer is digitally tracked.
2. Key Responsibilities (Action-Oriented)
- System Data Entry: Accurately input daily “Sell-out” (sales to customers) and “Sell-in” (stock to dealers) data into the DCR system from physical vouchers or digital logs.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Perform daily cross-checks between physical stock in warehouses/shops and the digital balance in the DCR system to identify discrepancies.
- Channel Support: Visit assigned channel stores or partner outlets in Maputo to assist in real-time data uploading and ensure terminal compliance.
- Reporting: Generate basic daily and weekly sales performance reports using Excel for the Sales Management team.
- Audit Assistance: Support the Trainer and Audit team in verifying the authenticity of sales records to prevent data fraud or “ghost” sales.
3. Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High School Diploma or Technical Vocational Certificate.
- Technical Skills: Strong Computer Literacy (must be comfortable navigating software interfaces）.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Data entry, sorting, and simple formulas).
- Language: Native or Professional fluency in Portuguese.
- Limited Working Proficiency in English (Able to understand system menus, read basic instructions, and communicate simple status updates).
- Attributes: High attention to detail, honesty (integrity is non-negotiable for data roles), and a fast learner.
